Petrol Bomb Attack at Pro-Israeli Hostage Rally in Colorado Injures Six

Boulder: A rally calling for the release of Israeli hostages in Boulder, Colorado, was violently disrupted on Sunday when a man launched a petrol bomb attack, injuring six people.

According to local authorities, the incident occurred during a walk organized by a group advocating for the release of Israeli hostages. The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Mohammad Sabri Suleiman, allegedly threw petrol bombs and other incendiary devices at participants.

Eyewitnesses and officials reported that the attacker was heard shouting pro-Palestinian slogans, including “Free Palestine,” during the assault.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has stated it is investigating the incident as a possible act of terrorism. FBI Special Agent Mark Michalek confirmed that federal agents are closely examining the motive and potential connections of the suspect.

Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn confirmed that the suspect was apprehended at the scene and is currently receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained during the attack. The six victims, ranging in age from 67 to 88, were transported to a local hospital for medical care.

Authorities are continuing their investigation and have not ruled out further charges as they assess the suspect’s background and intentions.
